Curry Udon
Rich, bold Japanese curry paired with premium Aomori udon.
Curry udon is one of Japan’s most beloved comfort dishes — and this version takes it to the next level.
Developed in collaboration with Cosmo Foods, a specialist in professional curry roux, the soup is made using a direct-flame roasting method that enhances the spices and creates deep, layered flavor.
The result is a thick, richly spiced broth with a gentle, building heat, perfectly coating udon noodles made from 100% Aomori-grown Nebariogoshi wheat.
Updated in 2024, the starch-free noodle formulation offers a softer, silkier texture. For a milder variation, simply add a splash of milk to create a creamy finish.

Cosmo Foods is Japan's premier manufacturer of professional-grade curry roux — the secret weapon of restaurant kitchens across the country. Their direct-flame roasting technique creates a roux of exceptional complexity, brought to you in a shelf-stable format for the first time.
Unlike thin, watery instant curry broths, this soup has the body and viscosity of a proper restaurant curry — it clings to the udon rather than pooling at the bottom, ensuring every bite carries the full flavor.
The base spice level is medium-to-hot — pleasantly warming, with building heat. A splash of milk (about 50ml) creates a milder, richer, creamier version reminiscent of Japanese "milk curry." Add more for a creamy "cream curry udon."
Optional (per serving): Meat, vegetables, milk for a creamy variation
Prepare the broth
Bring 250 ml of water to a boil, then remove from heat. Add the enclosed curry soup and stir until fully dissolved. Return to medium heat.
Cook the noodles
Add the udon noodles directly to the broth and simmer for 2.5–3 minutes until fully cooked.
Serve
Transfer to a bowl and enjoy. For a creamier variation, add approximately 50 ml of milk before cooking the noodles. Top with spring onion or a soft-boiled egg, if desired.
Notes
This product has a medium level of spiciness. For a milder taste, adding milk is recommended.
