Stir-Fried Udon

Towada Bara-Yaki Udon

The authentic taste of Towada — now for tables around the world.

“Bara-yaki,” meaning stir-fried beef with onions, is a beloved local dish from Towada City in Aomori, Japan. Thinly sliced beef and generous amounts of onion are cooked in a rich sweet-savory soy-based sauce, then combined with udon noodles that absorb all the flavorful juices.

Co-developed with the Towada Bara-Yaki Seminar — the group behind the dish that won the Gold Grand Prix at Japan’s 9th B-1 Grand Prix (Japan's regional gourment food event)— this product brings an iconic regional flavor to a convenient, shelf-stable, ready-to-cook format.
